Speeding Ticket Appeal with evidence

Hi All,
I recently received a speeding fine in the post however when i reviewed the evidence it clearly show less than 6 full GATSO speed markers from one picture to the next. The RAC website notes that 1 marker corresponds to 5 mph and therefore 6 would be 30 mph. Furthermore i also understand there is a tolerance of 10% + 2 = 5 mph and therefore i would expect a flash after 35 mph. The camera calculation states i was doing 37 mph but the evidence of images suggests i was 30.
Please advise whether the above interpretaion is correct.

I suggest that you post it over on the ftla parking forum in the appropriate section, for advice there
This forum mainly deals with private parking companies and charges1 -
The RAC may not be accurate. The distance between the markers can vary. The only way to determine the true speed is to an actually measure the distance between the markers and based on the elapsed time do the appropriate calculation.2
