Hi Guys!
I have had my Libra2 for a couple of years now and suffice to say I have 'lots' (a few thousand)of books, many, many sideloaded and organised into lots of collections.
I am going to be upgrading to a Libra Colrour soon and I am wondering if there is a simple way to just mirror my existing collections straight onto the new reader without having to replicate every collection manually?
Any ideas gratefully received
Thanks a lot

There is supposed to be a secret special way with calibre*, but when I just used calibre to transfer all my books to the colour, all the collections transferred, but they were empty. It speeded things up a lot as I only had to populate them.I think if you copy all the books from your old device into calibre, and then send them all to the new one it should transfer the collections, as far as I can tell they are called shelves.Make sure you are using the kobo plug-ins so all the books transfer as kepubs then the page counters work properly.I'm pleased with the Libre colour, even though the screen is tiny and it only has a miniscule amount of storage. Some other boys & girls complain about the lower contrast, washed out colours and grainy appearance, but I like it, it is like reading a newspaper or the Beano. The splashes of colour for the covers are nice too.* Have a look here
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)
