Thermostatic Shower Mixer on Combi system

Electric shower
Hello
I'm planning to replace an existing electric shower with a thermostatically controlled shower mixer.
I will use the existing cold water feed (mains fed), and take a new hot feed from the hot water supply to bathroom
sink (from combi boiler). I know that the hot water tap needs to be turned to a 'medium' flow rate to activate flow
sensor in the combi.
I'd like a strong flow from the shower, and a quick response to someone running a tap elsewhere in the building.
I'm starting at the high end with choices, and aim to work my way down.
Mira Combiflow EV

Mira Excel
http://www.showerright.co.uk/new_mira_excel.htm
I'm attracted to these as certainly the Excel seems to be highly rated for reliability and service, and both use
ceramic discs.
Is one of these products more suitable for the setup I have?
Is there an equally good product that you'd recommend that has performed well for the last 2 years (or that has been
easily maintained when there was a problem?)
Thanks in advance for your thoughts
