First Parking appeal rejection

Hi.

We had a PCN from First Parking last week whilst parked at the QMC hospital site in Nottingham. My wife is a wheelchair user and we believed we had parked on double yellows with the blue badge displayed. We have appealed the fine but it’s been rejected. We appealed on the basis that the double red lines were not clearly visible and did not conform to the standard in which they issued the fine for. The rejection states that adequate signage was displayed and didn’t comment on the state of the red lines which are pretty much yellow anyway.
Our appeal letter was good and clearly pointed out the issues with the sites road markings and parking issues so I’m surprised that it was rejected.
I’ve included a picture of the vehicle parked, do you think it’s worth taking it further or accept defeat. The fine is only £25 which rises to £50 if not paid within 2 weeks. The money is not the issue it’s the misleading red lines which frustrates me as we genuinely believed these were once double red but no longer.
Thanks in advance.

Nobody has been fined, its a parking charge, an invoice, from a private parking company
Nobody on here will be surprised that a private parking company has rejected the appeal, no profits in accepting the appeal
Complain about the PCN and appalling Signage and Road markings to PALS or directly to the CEO , to get it cancelled ASAP , plan A
Have a read of the current NHS guidelines too, because they may help, plus mention the Equality Act 2010 regarding reasonable adjustments1 -
From the picture appears that you were parked dangerously on a bend. Likewise the railings indicate that it's not intended to be a place to drop off passengers.0

Presumably the PPC is First Parking LLP, a BPA member. It is therefore worth doing a PoPLA appeal. The photos of the mostly yellow road markings should help since dropping off/picking up is not parking, and is permitted on single and double yellow lines.
Did you reveal the driver's identity in the initial appeal. This is only relevant, but extremely important, if the NTK was not PoFA compliant.
Post your draft appeal here for checking before you submit it.
This is after you complain to the landowner/PALS/head of the hospital trust.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -

Complain to the NHS Trust about the state of the lines because they are clearly yellow and the normal meaning of double yellow lines allows Blue Badge holders to park for 3 hours.
Worse, someone has attempted but failed to re-paint them red which makes them ambiguous and if this was done by F1rst Parking at the behest of the NHS Trust, then they've failed to make the restriction clear and are deliberately or negligently entrapping Blue Badge holders.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
