@wjr4 I've just read your profile line! Apologies!
@Yorkie1 I hope to see at least one house with them when I go - but they might have already offered by August. As you say there are so many things to pay for when you are an owner - gutter cleaning, wasp nest removal, window cleaning, etc etc!
My daughter sent me photos of them at the Taylor Swift concert in Dublin on Friday night and I felt so glad they are still having fun - at the moment£216 saved 24 October 20141 -
If I were them I would make a list of things they might use daily (like tin openers)
When I bought my 1st house I asked everyone I knew what was the one thing they realized they needed when the moved in.
One person said clothes pegs, another hadnt a tin opener. So I started acquiring these before I moved in.
Saved a lot of trips for little stuff.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)2 -
Thank you @tealady but they have been living together in a rental for a few years now. I recently sent my daughter my KitchenAid mixer, I could hardly carry it to the PO, good luck to whoever has to move that!£216 saved 24 October 20142
