Comms Hub Fault?

That's not to say you'll ever manage to contact them or even have your issue referred to them. I spent months being told absolute nonsense by customer support. A mixture of blatantly incorrect assertions about how smart work, and insistence the the issue must due to poor WAN. Only by chance after i posted a rant on Facebook did someone mention there's a known issue with our model meter, with a known easy fix.On the contrary, there are decent smart meter teams at most of the larger suppliers.1 -
My smart meter problem may have been that my WAN signal diminished. But there was no obvious reason why that might have happened. After a couple of months I got the comms hub working again, now on the end of a flying lead. But the WAN signal could have got stronger again anyway; I have no way of knowing. My symptoms were that although the WAN light flashed every 5 seconds most of the time, it did sometimes flash every two seconds for a few minutes. That seemed to block all communications, despite the fact that most of the time everything appeared normal.Reed0
