DLA reassessment over pension age living in Scotland

Options
My 72yo wife living in Scotland gets DLA (personal care middle rate and mobility lower rate) for over 20 years. Her health has deteriorated a lot this year and we wonder if she should be reassessed and hopefully get a higher rate of benefit. We've done an online PIP test and she scored 40 and so seems likely to be eligible for the PIP Daily Living Component enhanced rate if that applies.

She hasn't yet been transferred to the Scottish Adult Disability Payment. We are unclear what happens if she asks to be reassessed e.g. does she stay on DLA, get moved onto PIP, get moved to Attendance Allowance or transferred to Scottish Adult Disability Payment. I think she would be worse off if she got Attendance Allowance as there is no mobility component.

She would also like advice on any pitfalls to avoid and how best to request reassessment.
