Barclaycard simplicity Low Rate for Life

Hi, does anyone remember this account? I have had one since 2006 advertised and promoted as a low interest rate for life account of around 6.3% but it now seems that Barclaycard is having trouble remembering the details of their own account.

The Barclaycard Platinum Simplicity Visa, on the other hand, offers a rate of 6.8% on both balance transfers and purchases. What’s more, there’s no balance transfer fee! However, with this card, the interest rate is variable, so you should be aware that the rate could in fact change, although it is likely to remain low.

So was already on the rise over 2 years there.
