Travel Insurance, Over 70, Pre-existing Conditions

Just sharing what appears to be a good quote.....
I've spent the last few hours shopping around all the various recommended search sites for Annual Worldwide Travel Insurance, with cruise cover, (including Saga, Direct Line etc).
We both have pre-existing medical conditions, and hubby is now over 70 with 2 x new hips. The prices range from over £700 to £1000+ Even allowing for topcashback etc this could only be reduced by 25-30%.
We have settled for Barclays which offer a packaged £14.50 a month Travel & RAC policy (Aviva screen the medical conditions), and it's only added £140 a year! That's about half the prices quoted.

Probably would have been even cheaper if Barclays still bundled Travel Insurance in as standard rather it being an option you have to select but they changed that a few years ago.1

LLoyds travel insurance was the cheapest I found, through my account. The only item which had to be declared was my 1 x hip replacement and cover for my wife and 1 was £60. I'm 73. Up until last November even the hip replacement didn't have to be declared.
