Had my gateway intervention interview today.

Hi,
I had my self employed gateway intervention interview by phone today. I took about 20 mins.
I answered the questions they asked, about self assessment and tax etc. I told them that my accountant deals with all that, after I send them the information.
They also asked what my job was, I told them I was a PA for my disabled mum. I also care for her more than 35 hours a week.
Told them that she pays me £600 monthly into my business account, out of her money. They seemed happy with that and said that I didn't need to be in the 'looking for work' category.
Just that I need to report my income and mileage and expenses with the 7 day notice period.
I looked on my journal just now, and it says I'm not gainfully self employed.
I don't really understand this, and what it means to me?
On my claim I did say that I was a carer over 35hrs p/w.
My 10 year old daughter is also on my claim as she lives with me, and was on my WTC+CTC before the migration request.
I also declared my disabilities and that I'm on the high rates of both elements of PIP.
TIA.
I'm autistic, and if I offend anybody by what I've said, or how I've said it.
I'm truly and honestly sorry. It's not my intention or mean to do.

As you're a carer then being found not to be gainfully self employed doesn't really matter anyway because you have no work commitments. If you weren't a carer it would be completely different.
You still need to make sure you report your earnings and expenses each month. You also have the work allowance which means £673/month of earnings you receive are ignored before the earnings taper applies. (if you don't claim for help with any rent) if you claim for help with the rent then it will be £404/month.1 -
Thanks Poppy,
I own and have a mortgage, so I don't get any housing help. I didn't go near the mortgage interest loan, as it was a loan and I only have a small mortgage. Due to emptying my ISA for a big deposit.
