Cancelling car insurance - being charged whole policy amount
Hello you lovely people. I bought my daughter a car, 3 weeks later the power steering pump broke and there were a few other issues that arose so I returned it and got a full refund. A Choice insurance are now charging me the full years insurance to cancel the policy... is this correct ??

What specifically do the T&Cs say re. cancellation?
Is it these, which seems to indicate £50. How much was the policy? Had any claims been made on the policy?

It will be time on risk
Tye insurers cancellation fee - around £26 from memory
a choice cancellation fee - £50
and their retained commission
all of which comes from a fairly small premium to begin with1
