Court Sealed and Certified Copy of Will

I have requested Court Sealed and Certified Copies of wills which are needed for a property sale using form PAS1. It says lead time is up to 4 weeks (this is the 4th week).
However I had heard that it can be up to 12 weeks which is concerning. Has anyone had experience of this lately and can say how long it took to get copy wills?

I’m wondering why you need to do this? If probate has been granted then the solicitor dealing with the sale can download copies of the will directly - mine did, as did the seller’s solicitor.

No idea, its what has been asked for, I'd assume the solicitors know what they're doing!
Doesn't answer my question about the timeframe but thanks for your input.

Like a lot of things these days where you elect to do it by paper/post it can take ages. I’d also wonder why this was being asked for rather than the usual downloaded copies which take just a few days.

I did not elect to do it by post, the solicitor required it. And no idea why they can't just download it, I've asked that question and been told they need court sealed copies which you can't get online. There is a reason for it.
My post was to ask if anyone had done this and for an idea of timescales. Still not had an answer for that but thank you for your input

Did you ever receive the sealed and certified copy of the will that you needed?  I submitted PA1S forms 20 June and I’m still waiting.  Did you find any way of expediting this?
I’m wondering where you found the information that it may take 12 weeks.  It’s needed for a Spanish inheritor to deal with their system, and there are penalties for delays.
