Any chance it was DJ Stringer ?   Perhaps this case would be an ideal one to obtain a transcript for other victims to use as a persuasive precedent.
It was DJ Higgins, as you will see in the General Directions Order that I’ve received.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how to highlight a post that I can comment on.
However, congratulations GropplerZorn, on your successful court case. It's certainly given me confidence, should my issue end up in court. I have noted several of your points against the PPC and will make a similar representation, come the time.
Obviously, I realise that not all judges think the same way. I do hope though, that they will use precedence in my case and arrive at the same decision.

    Well done, again.
Thank you, and good luck! Happy to provide my Witness Statement or Defence if it would be helpful.

@GropplerZorn, Congratulations on your win. I actually have the same situation as you with this same VCS. It appears they are no longer using a solicitor and they recently sent me a letter advising that DCB legal is no longer their solicitor and an in-house paralegal prepared their WS which I just received in mail.

My court date is now fixed for June 10 and I am currently preparing my witness statement which is due on May 2. Do you mind sharing a copy of your WS bundle?

Also, I will appreciate if you can share the statement the space owner gave you to support the claim you got permission from them to use their parking spot.

Hi @GropplerZorn and @ijapa1 (did you win?!) . . my son now finds himself in a very similar position to that described above (hit with a PCN from an over-zealous contracted parking company whilst parked in his own space!) and wondered if you would be happy to (privately) share with me any details which may be useful in defending against these scammers?!

We are at Letter Before Claim stage - have appealed to the landlord who is frustratingly not interested in getting involved, and so are expecting it to proceed to court at some stage, unless it can be stopped early with some damning evidence/info of others that have succeeded in similar cases.

Oh, and as ever, if @Coupon-mad or any of the other regulars on here fancy chipping in with more help, it's always appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

There's a landmark binding case from the Court of Appeal that supports resident defences:

The Duchess of Bedford House case:
