Simply to avoid a lengthy queue on 'hold'.

And re costs, list your travel costs for both hearings.  If you don't ask you don't get!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is it appropriate to list lost income for both hearings also?

Yes of course. CPRs allow £95 per day as a fixed sum, or more if you attach proof of your hourly rate lost.

  • Thank you. Can I include a preparation amount for my time spent writing my defence and witness statement? Not out of cheeky-ness but I'm asking because, if I remember correctly, someone else did that for their costs assessment. And it has taken me hours!

I'm finishing my WS now and will share a draft, however. I'm looking at my photographs of the signage in the car park and the signage is TERRIBLE. They're faded to the point they're hard to read. Additionally, PCM claim in their witness statement that there are about double the signs there actually are. Should I address this in my WS? I'm already referencing Beavis and this feels like I could make this a part of that.

My hesitation not to include this is because the signage didn't matter to me in my specific case since I used that car park daily and had a permit affixed so I was actually following the signage if it wasn't for their ambiguous terms re windscreen and which windscreen I was supposed to have my permit on.

Here's a photo of one of the signs which is at knee height (bar one of them which is over head height)

    Wow.  You'll win hands down!

Judges love a good pic of appallingly inadequate signs - makes the case VERY easy for them - but you must add and embed into the exhibit, the metadata showing the date & time that you took the photo (unless that's their evidence photo?!).

If that’s your photo, did you take any that show the sign from a distance rather than a close up?
