Inpost lockers

Hi there.

I have sold an item on Vinted and I was to send it via the inpost locker (there are loads round by me). I have been following the tracking information and today I have received a text to say that the item has been unable to be delivered and is on it’s way back to me.

The tracking information doesn’t give a reason. The destination address was an inpost locker at a Co-op.

I printed the address label at home and attached it to the parcel before sending.

Has anyone else had this?

It happens on occasions on Vinted- if it was going to another Inpost locker it means the recipient locker was full.

Once the item gets back to you you just confirm receipt, money and money is refunded to buyer, and you have your item back which you can re list.

Inpost do not give the recipient very long to pick up, usually only 2 days. If they did not pick it up it'll get returned to you usually by royal mail. Once received mark so in vinted and they will get refunded and you won't get a bad review. Is a pain when people don't pick up their parcels you have gone to the trouble of posting!

Ok thank you & thanks to @soolin

I have since looked on the inpost website and searched for that locker and it does say there’s no space available.  I never knew this would be a thing, as I am new to using these lockers.

    Annoying or what?

I have another parcel to send later at an inpost locker, but that is going direct to the persons address.

I do prefer it when a buyer chooses locker to home, less chance of returns. I'm happier printing my own labels so locker to home is fine for me, although quite a few sellers have no access to a printer and have had to disable it as an option.
