Hi
I have just ordered broadband from Plusnet &need help setting up my router.
I have a BT Voyager 2091 ADSL Router which has a wireless key printed on the underside of the router.
Not sure how to set the BT router up for Plusnet.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Where did this 2091 come from? If originally supplied by BT it is likely that it is locked for use only with BT. Log into the router while connected with an Ethernet cable by entering http://192.168.1.1 into your browser. If you are unable to change the username/password, it's locked and would require flashing before using with another ISP.

Is it locked to BT then? You will find details of the procedure on various websites e.g. here.

For those of you that don't know, Plusnet belongs to BT, these units are supplied by Plusnet, so they should work, assuming that Plusnet supplied it.

Look forward to slow speeds with Plusnet..

The router was supplied by bt.
Do you think it will work with Plusnet?

If it was supplied by BT and not Plusnet themselves, very likely it will not work without flashing it, try a Google for info on how to do this.
