All—Hansgrohe acknowledges that the shower head and nipples need to be rubbed with cleaner to get rid of the limescale, but we have only ever rubbed them with a cloth or rubber squeegee. Surely, for a high-end shower like this, it should be robust enough to withstand reasonable cleaning, but it has not. Not only have they refused to acknowledge a guarantee claim, but they have not offered help in getting the shower head repaired.

I am genuinely shocked how everyone on this forum believes their conduct and refusal to help is reaxsonable
I don't know if you're unable to see my posts or are just ignoring them.  The manufacturer is being perfectly reasonable as long as they're adhering to the terms of the guarantee.  Are they?  I can't read your guarantee paperwork from here.

I've also explained, twice, that you have consumer rights with the retailer.  You should approach them with the problem.  They may agree to replace it.  They may agree with the manufacturer and deem it to be user error.  You won't know unless you ask.  If they deny a consumer rights claim, there is still an option available to you.

Stop spending your time chasing the manufacturer and bemoaning their response (which is probably entirely reasonable) and go after the retailer instead.

It's hilarious how many people think they are expert material technicians.

A nozzle has torn. There's clearly two possible causes - a fault in the material, or excessive force applied when cleaning. The fact that people have just decided which it must be, based on no information whatsoever, is bizarre.

And then there's people claiming to know about the manufacturers testing regimes... literally fantasy land.

It's not surprising that actual helpful posts get lost among the tripe posted here

What’s the old saying? Opinions are like a***holes, everyone has one? It’s never been truer either, as social media seems to have made everyone an expert in everything…

(I say that as someone who also suffers this affliction at times, thinking I’m an expert in things that I’m not and I hate myself for it)

    Just block that nozzle off.

Hot melt glue gun to the ready ... blob it on/in and leave it alone?
