    Chances are it'll be fine.
    I'd use a sharp knife to trim off the loose bits.
    As I understand it, the seal is really to prevent water coming out from around the door, so as long as that bit is ok, then you should be fine.
    Slide a sheet of newspaper under the WM for a few washes, to check for any leaks!

    All good now, no leaks and all debris removed. Seems to be working fine. If happens to anyone else - should be fine if only the rubber on the plastic tab is damaged. Thanks.
