    Careless driving carries an unlimited fine.

    The "Level 5" fine on the standard scale (which careless driving carries) was increased from £5,000 to unlimited in March 2015.

    Articles copy and pasted from a "journalist" too lazy to do any real work and many of the websites they appear on are
    linked so the same articles popup over and over sometimes the names change but the articles are a word for word copy.

    Love it that the article refers to them as Tropical Safety Boots!!

    I've always, and more generally, referred to flip flops as safety footwear for a more specific nationality. B)

    I've driven (moved cars on private land) barefoot and wouldn’t recommend it, others may have tougher soles and not bothered. Flip flops present little problem in comparison, safety boots on the other hand are a real pain for me - feels like I'm always on the verge of catching the adjacent pedal by mistake.
