Days Out With The Kids (DOWTK) and booking tickets

Hi there,
I am considering subscribing to DOWTK and would just like to know if anyone has used this before and would be able to provide some insight into how the booking process works.
If I was to book tickets to Thomas Land (Drayton Manor), would I need to select a date or are they flexible tickets where we can attend any day and just scan our barcodes on arrival?
The reason I ask this is because we previously used Kids Pass (different website) to purchase tickets to Dudley Zoo, and we did not have to select a visit date. It said we could use them at any point and all we needed to do was scan the barcodes to our e-tickets when we arrived).
Thank you.
