17th June not filed a AOS yet ... thanks see attached claim form in threadKeithP said:What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?
Have you filed an Acknowledgment of Service?
If so, upon what date did you do so?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.1 -

Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that. With a Claim Issue Date of 17th June, you have until Monday 8th July to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 22nd July 2024 to file your Defence. That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.3 -

Update: I have a letter from CNBC re the UK Parking Control LTD claim: It states:
To all parties
"The claim has been transferred to the County Court at "Court Name" for allocation. On receipt, the file will be referred to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions. Details of the judge's decision will be sent to you in a notice of allocation."
I had a call from DCB legal with an offer of £200 opposed to the £260 claim, they also said I can make a counter claim within 7 days, BTW I declined their offer.
Going back the the Court letter, I read it as the judge might make a decision without me/claimant attending?
Sorry if this is mentioned in forum, but I could not find a direct comparison. Thanks.
