He has used the MCOL defence option, but said they only gave him 122 lines, so he will post a paper copy. I've just told him to email the defence too.
He's got the claim number listed on his paper copy and email, so surely as long as they get his full defence with the claim number listed, that will be fine?0 -

The automated process that he has used - by writing in the Defence box on MCOL - means a Defence has been filed already. Strictly speaking, he now needs to amend his Defence and that attracts a hefty fee.
He could try phoning the CNBC - number on his Claim Form - first thing on Monday morning and asking them to discard the Defence already file by mistake, but it's a long shot.2 -
