Connecting three water butts-advice

Hi
Plan to connect three 210L water butts together.
Would like to connect them at the bottom so that all fill up same time and I need to use one tap.
What connectors would do the job and which putty or sealant should i using around the connectors to stop any leakage or seepage?
Also any advice on how to go about assembling this set up,and connecting them all up and then trying to install water butts upright may break the seal or cause leak, while connecting water butts one by one,I would not be able to reach inside of bottom of the water butt when they are standing erect.
Many Thanks

    Knowing as daisy chain.

To "daisy chain" your water butts you simply cut your hose pipe at the bottom of your first water butt, connect a "T" piece, connect one outlet to the water butt tap, then the other to your next water butt and so on...

Try google how to connect water butts at the bottom, there are photos as well.

You can buy water butt connector kits for a few quid and they will seal properly if you cut the right size hole ( the same size as the one near the top meant for that purpose)
If you have bought water butts they each come with a tap and I find it's useful to be able to fill two containers at the same time

If you have them connected at the top there's less possibility of leaking.  Not sure why you need them to all be filling at the same time?

As said by others. Use flexible hose - even concertinaed stuff if easier, tho' even garden hose will do - and proper tank connectors which will come with rubber washers, which is all that should be required.
Yes, connecting them at the bottoms is the best way, with the butt at one end receiving the water, and the other end butt having the tap (tho' not essential).

That's why they designed to be connected  at the top to be able to connect in the finished position
