Hi folks,
I am a big fan of the basic Microsoft wired mouse, nice height to it which suits my hand perfectly, but old one is playing up, so need something similar that is under £20.
I got a temporary mouse from Argos yesterday a HP one only £6.99 but simply doesn't have the height of the old Microsoft one.
With the Microsoft mouse I didn't use a mouse mat.
Any recommendations for one that you think might suit me, don't want a wireless one.
Thanks.

Have a look on eBay, and pay an absolute fortune for another second hand Microsoft one - mine is a Wheel Mouse optical 1.1 and must be 15 years old if it is a day.I have tried the lesser offerings from Logitech & Trust and they just don't work properly with Windows 11. (It studiously ignores double clicks 75% of the time, with the Microsoft mouse they just work 100% of the time- I tried messing with the mouse settings to no avail)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

I even set it to Really Slow and it made no difference.Could just be My Windows 11.I find anything involving file manager to be massively super slow, but Other Boys & Girls say they have no problems (probably they don't have 7 SATA HDDs & 3 nvme's connected though. It feels like it has to wake up every single drive before it can access any one to me)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Not wired but there are Bluetooth Microsoft mice on Amazon for less than £20. I've got this in black one for work and find it too arched for me, much prefer my ThinkPad mouse.

Or if you don't mind camo (green or blue)

I’m pleased with Razer’s essential gaming mouse for everyday. This was their top mouse at one time and cost a lot more. Nice and weighty, heavily built so should last well. Very precise and responsive. I got one for £15 a while back, but currently £20.50
