Dowloaded PDF files of bank Statements not showing details

I have sometimes used the option to download my Nationwide Bank Statements by using their PDF option but when I did it today and saved it I opened it up and there's nothing showing in it.  There's just a sort of template I suppose you'd call it but no logo or anything in print.   So, I had a look back at previous downloaded ones and there's nothing in them either!  Could it just be a glitch that will right itself or do I need to take some action.

Could anyone shed any light please for an elderly person, not too technically minded.  Thanks.

Did the previously downloaded statements originally have content?

If so then whatever you are using to read the statements seems to have a problem.

What are you using to download the statements and what are you using to read them? (This should help narrow down what’s happening)

Are they official statements or a search by date?

    Try a different PDF reader.

Edit : Just downloaded my last current account statement in PDF and all looks normal using the viewers in Chrome and Edge.

Yes, the previously downloaded statements were perfectly normal but now they're not.

When I open up my online banking I can see my most recent transactions but if I want a paperless Statement I select the date I want and there is a PDF link and it always tells me I need Adobe to read it but I must have it as it's always worked in the past.

I clicked on the date of the most recent one just as I have always done and saved it in my Downloads Folder.  All the things I have always done but was then shocked to see that all the text is missing from that and all my previously saved statements.  However, I can still see other PDF documents that I've saved, i.e. some knitting patterns, instructions for things, etc.

A monthly statement from my bank that I've downloaded previously with no problems.

Are you using your computer or Nationwide's app?

Using computer, Chrome browser, I log into Nationwide online banking, click current account, go to bottom of screen where you can see statement dates.
Click required date, and the statement appears to the top right hand side of PC screen.
    Click, and the form appears.

Have never used the app to download statements, so not sure how it works.
