Builder dispute

Hi I have a contract with a builder including a payment schedule to build me my dream home . He decided to purchase my aluminium doors and windows from a company I’d never heard of that mostly do UVPC products. We had visited 2 very reputable Aluminium companies prior . Unbeknown to me they use 3rd party companies for glass and frames and recommend a fitter . The whole process has been disastrous from beginning to current situation nothing has fitted , trickle vents removed , delay upon delay , front door doesn’t allow height for tiles etc etc . The cost has been well over the quoted amount with fitting costs charged to me on top.
What are my rights and who do I claim against?
Builder and seller trying to get me to accept retrofit on 4 sets of doors incorrectly supplied and to order another front door that is awful anyway.
Builder has already gone over timeframe and has no real plan to finish which left me out of my rental and my belongings in storage. Things have become contentious.
What are my legal options?

This is a consumer rights forum, so there is little in the way of legal advice. It does sound very frustrating.Your house builder insurance should have a legal helpline.0

Was it a quote or an estimate ? Check the wording on the paperwork- also check for any reference as to whether the price was to include fittingLondongirl69 said:Hi I have a contract with a builder including a payment schedule to build me my dream home .
