I have FTTP with a 5 GHz router. However my Solar Data Logger uses 2.4 GHZ.
Is there a way forward - other than replacing the router with a dual band 2.4/5 ?

Wireless access point?

Surprised the router isn't dual band. Many devices don't use 5ghz WiFi.
Are you sure there isn't a setting in the router to enable 2.4ghz band?
Alternatively, get pretty much any old router, turn off DHCP in the old routers settings, and connect it via ethernet cable to the 5ghz router.
Then set a WiFi access point on the old router.2 -
What is the router model number?
If it truly doesn't provide 2.4ghz then just add an access point to it as suggested. Be unusual for an ISP router to not do both (or more with wifi6).0 -
