Pale Blue Clematis
Options
Where have all the pale blue Clematis gone?
A few years ago they were everywhere and now it seems to be all white and pale pink/ lilac colours.
I intended buying one this year but haven,t managed to find the pale blue (bit like a pale Wedgwood Blue). Has anyone seen any this year?

Thought I saw one at Lidl but whether that's the quality of what you are after is up to you. It was a couple of months back so obviously no longer available at any of the local stores.
RHS seems to have a nice selection of blues.....Buy Clematis - Flower colour: Blue - (rhsplants.co.uk)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I bought some plants recently from T&M and was happy with the quality of them and speed of delivery.
You'll need to browse through 163 varieties but there are some blues in there

Thanks everyone, will have plenty to browse through but expensive.
The ones I saw were being sold in the likes of Wilcos etc so probably just a "common"variety.0 -

RHS seems to have a nice selection of blues.....Buy Clematis - Flower colour: Blue - (rhsplants.co.uk). I bought a clematis in Morrisons one year. It died very quickly. Our garden centre has some beautiful ones to choose from and if their outdoor plants fails to thrive they will refund your money - up to 2 years.

The blue clematises are stunning. The only problem is which one to choose. I bought a clematis in Morrisons one year. It died very quickly. Our garden centre has some beautiful ones to choose from and if their outdoor plants fails to thrive they will refund your money - up to 2 years.
Bluepenny - if you can pay a bit more then the plant will be more advanced. You will get a much better quality plant from a good garden centre than a supermarket (I’m talking from experience, one very cheap clematis and a cheap sunflower turned up their toes very quickly)
Do you have green fingers? It is possible to take cuttings from a clematis but I’ve never done it. There’s a good article on the Gardeners World website plus they have a competition to win a £25k garden makeover1
