Reasonably priced car hire for 1-2 months

Advice/suggestions please!My car is in the garage with parts on back order 2-3 weeks before problem can be diagnosed & sorted.I'm a part-time NHS community worker so I need transport, & juggling sharing husband's car is not always going to be possible.Advice re cheapest rentals/options please!
