At the last meeting my son was advised to apply for a mystery shopper job.
He’s “applied” and without much fuss or interview etc has been sent his first “task” which is at a jewellers. He has been asked to buy something and assess the shop…. For this he will be payed £10 and a bonus of £15 plus the cost of the item he buys.
Not withstanding his UC this month is £15.
If he turns down this down does he risk another sanction? It’s £2 there and £2 back, plus what he buys. Equally will have two meetings (£4 each) so within seconds theres this months UC gone,
I have looked at the company and trust pilot is varied, he will be expected to write a report which the company say will take 20-30 minutes (Ive already suggested to his work coach that this is not the job for someone with dysgraphia) if payment is dependant on the report then he wont get any pay.
Im very tempted to do it myself and then run the report through grammerly just to prove how stupid the situation is.
