Hi there, we're travelling from UK to Thailand and Malaysia for around 20 days in August. Can anyone recommend an esim or advise on other options to minimise roaming charges whilst we're there? I'm on a monthly contract with EE. Many thanks in advance!

Hello! We were in both Malaysia (5 days) and Thailand (14 days) in February this year. We used Airalo who find you the best local eSIM to use. Download the app and set up a payment. We used Apple Pay. No problems at all, very thorough step by step instructions are easy to follow for any fairly competent app/phone user. You can buy in advance, a few days before then activate it when you arrive.Recently retired, discovering new adventures 😊0

Many thanks in advance! You can add a Roaming pack for Malaysia. dtac.co.th/en/roaming/rate/mys/2GB over 7 days costs 107 baht. dtac.co.th/en/package/prepaid/GoTravel/detail/21420184Of course we don't know in which order you will visit and for how long you might stay in each.0

Thanks both for your suggestions! We'll be in Thailand for 9 days, and Malaysia for 10 days
