I have received the same PCN I parked in the same place as you at North Greenwich station, I have appealed using the italics that is provided from the newbie post, they have replied the following 
Regarding '(pcn number),' please be advised, photographic evidence of the contravention and the signage is already available online at paymyparkingcharge. This is the same website in which you submitted your appeal.

Please be advised, you have marked that you were the driver, however in your appeal, you state you will not admit who the driver was. We can only process an appeal submitted by the driver. Please therefore confirm if you were the driver at the time and provide the basis of your appeal. If you were not the driver, please confirm their full name and residential address so we may contact them directly with the opportunity to appeal or make payment.

in the appeal process there was a 'were you the driver' option with yes and no options only. I had chosen yes but in the appeal I said no assumptions can be drawn.

Why did you tick driver when the NEWBIES thread explains to appeal as keeper?

It wouldnt let me appeal otherwise I had to choose one of the choices

Then you should have appealed by post and/or complained to the PPC, then complained to the BPA.

This is on top of the standard Plan A complaints from the keeper to the landowner and the keeper's MP.

You should also start your own thread because your circumstances are not the same as the OP's, and trying to answer questions from a different poster can cause confusion.
