Parking Charge Newcastle Airport Garage

Firstly - I can't find the original letter.
Today my appeal was rejected.
In short I dropped off at the airport (Private Hire driver). I went and grabbed a Greggs Meal Deal (Mexican Chicken Flatbread and a Flat white, if you're interested).
Sat and had lunch in my car, didn't notice any signs in the garage (there are some) and there are definitely none at the greggs concession.
I appealed
"I stopped at this garage for lunch. I bought a Greggs meal and as there is currently no signage in Greggs expressing any sort of time limit on stay, I assumed it reasonable that I would have time to eat my sandwich and drink my drink in the car in the car park. Eating/drinking at the wheel is not advised and can cause issues with attention and lead to accidents/penalty points.
As such I will not be paying the penalty and if the appeal is rejected I will go to parking tribunal. The receipt for my lunch is attached."
My appeal was rejected.
This was their response.
"Thank you for your letter of appeal against the Parking Charge Notice issued by us on 05/06/2024. Having carefully considered the evidence provided by you we have decided

"Thank you for your letter of appeal against the Parking Charge Notice issued by us on 05/06/2024. Having carefully considered the evidence provided by you we have decided
to reject your appeal for the following reasons:
The vehicle was parked on private land that is well signed with contractual notices stating: Parking is only permitted for customers of the filling station whilst remaining
on site. The signage also advises of the time limit in place and that no dropping off/picking up is permitted. These notices clearly state that enforcement is carried out on a 24-hr basis. Clear signage throughout the site including at the entrance advise
there is a 30minute maximum stay period in place.
Please be advised that if you were unsure about the restrictions in place, our telephone number is displayed on the signage. You could have used this number to contact our
offices for advice.
In summation, it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that they comply with the terms of the contract entered into when parking on private land. If they fail to do so
they agree to pay the parking charge in accordance with the terms of the contract."
Can anyone give me any pointers while writing my appeal to the IAS.
I'd rather lose and pay £100 than not contest it and pay £60.
I overstayed by 15 minutes. 45 minutes stayed 30 allowed.
Thanks

No point appealing to the kangaroo court known as the IAS. ignore anything except for a future LoC and possibly a court claim
There is no penalty, no tribunal, you wont win this at the IAS2 -
What a shame you appealed as driver when the location is (probably) not relevant land where byelaws apply and therefore the keeper could not have been held liable.
Never mind, no appeal would have won, and as advised above, there is no point in making an appeal to the IAS kangaroo court.
If the driver was dropping off/picking up a passenger, then that could have accounted for part of the time on site, meaning the time the vehicle was actually stopped/parked was within the 30 minute permitted period.
Ignore powerless debt collectors.
Do not ignore a latter of/before claim or a court claim. Come back to this thread if that happens.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks3 -
Can anyone give me any pointers while writing my appeal to the IAS.Sounds like you need to read the 3rd post of the NEWBIES thread. No point in the IAS.
Just ignore it now, but you MUST tell the PPC if you move house within 6 years. That's all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've removed the word "no" from my post which - on reflection - I think read the wrong way. I am sorry if it came across differently than I intended by that word "no".
I simply meant there is no need.
