But that's exactly what you don't want to say, especially if your prospective buyers are city dwellers from London who like to go to the cinema once a week. Any story that involves the area is no good for us may put future buyers off. OP, I agree, I'd put a positive spin on why you are moving in case you are asked - to be closer to parents, other family, work etc. 2 years isn't that short a time though.
We've sold a couple of remote rural places (nearest Nando's: 163 miles) - and we've been very honest to buyers - some people struggle to get their heads around Amazon Prime taking three days to deliver something or a round trip to the main dealer for a quick service is seven hours of driving.

Rural isn't for everyone - both houses we've sold people have fallen in love with but moved on after 18 months...
Similarly you need to take into account accessibility to a Waitrose. Friend moved to Llanelli before realising the nearest store was an hour away

We had a Tesco store 30 minutes away but it was tiny.  If you wanted sophisticated foods like croissants or mango chutney you needed the Oban superstore a good couple of hours away  :D
  • If anyone asks why you are moving so soon, just say something fairly vague like “sudden change of family circumstances” or similar. As long as you are not lying about an actual problem, it’s for your buyers to decide if they want the rural life.

Moving off-topic, my sister-in-law used to live in Botswana. To go shopping in a small grocery store took an entire day to get to the store and back. The nearest proper supermarket was a 3 day trip.
