I sold an item on Vinted but my parcel was damaged by the courier Yodel before it even got to the purchaser. Yodel said, I have to claim via Vinted as my contract is with them. I sent Vinted pictures of the box before it was posted and, after when the buyer returned it to me. They showed the broken items and all the bubble wrap and newspaper inside, I packed in to protect it. Vinted's disgraceful response was "compensation is not possible due to it being poorly packaged". I've read so many bad reports about Vinted, something should be done about their operation. I suggest all those that have had a bad experience should send their story to BBC watchdog! Question is, how do I get my loss back...the value of the item and postage return?
