Occasional smell of gas from boiler?

Hi all We juat moved into a new property and have a baxi duo tech 28 erp and on the odd occasion when the boiler fires up you get a smell of gas for a few seconds then it goes away. It's in the kitchen and the flu goes straight out the wall next to it into the garden so not sure if the smell is going out the flu into the…

Really, you should get someone to have a look straight away. A gas safety inspection is around £60, but the gas company may send someone to have a look for free. This happened to me, smelt gas and got someone round from British GAs within the hour. They deemed it all safe.

Be quick acting if you are unsure of gas appliances, or any aspect of gas safety.
