21 or 23 days ?????

Hi
I am looking for some advice please, I know Martin has mentioned a certain number of days to buy insurance as it may work out more cost effective.
I'm just trying to figure out whether it's 21 or 23 days prior to car insurance being due, also would that be from the day I'm making the enquiry, do I count 21/23 from today or is it from the following day ?
Many thanks 🙂

I always took it to mean about 3 weeks before renewal rather than a precise number of days. But maybe that's just me being vague.

Why not read the MSE guide to car insurance, where your question is prominently answered? If you simply can't be bothered, what it says is "renew around 23 days before your renewal date", although if you click on the link in the article it gives a range of 20 to 26 days.
