Moving to Germany - stocks and shares options

Hi all,
I had a nutmeg account, but as I am moving to Germany with work I had to close it. I will be there for work, but will not be a German citizen or anything. Does anyone know of any investment options, ideally something managed like nutmeg or moneyfarm etc that would be available to someone from the UK temporarily living in Germany? (And when I say temporarily, it could be from 5 years up to 10+, depending on contracts etc.)
Thanks in advance.

I will be there for work, but will not be a German citizen or anything. So, you won't be a resident in Germany for tax purposes? So, where will you be resident?Does anyone know of any investment options, ideally something managed like nutmeg or moneyfarm etc that would be available to someone from the UK temporarily living in Germany? (And when I say temporarily, it could be from 5 years up to 10+, depending on contracts etc.)That information suggests you will be a German resident.
In which case, you would need to consider an EU based option (thanks to Brexit).

Check properly what bank you are using, lot's of fees for a lot of things and services e.g. taking cash from a machine that doesn't belong to the same bank or banking group usually comes with fees. Try to retain your UK bank account, some like HSBC, I think, let you keep it. Their € currency account is free and a very handy account in combination with their Global Money account. DYOR
Be prepared, banking and financial services are not anywhere near as sophisticated, fast and straight forward as in UK. Also, things do take usually a lot longer, a lot is still done on paper. Make sure your company is providing very good relocation services and especially tax advice, bureaucracy and taxes are a different level.
Good luck and if you are there for 10 years, I doubt you will be moving back ;-) Good luck!1
