Renovation house - renegotiation after survey

Hi All, We want to renegotiate the offer price after our survey, is this reasonable or likely to be accepted? First time buyer here so learning a lot of new things at the moment. I recently sold a house that I new needed renovation and priced it accordingly, if a buyer had come to me post survey and asked for a reduction I would have said a resounding no! They could go and look for a similar house at that price and would not have found one.

In fact they got lots of surveys and understood what needed doing but still paid asking price.
