Have we been double charged for heating/hot water?
Hi all,
Sorry if this is a stupid question. Recently moved in w/ my partner to a flat in a new build block that features a district heating network for heating/hot water. The only supplier available for this is E.ON Heat, and they have just sent us our first bill since moving in.
Looking at the bill they've sent, unless I'm missing something painfully obvious, I'm fairly certain they have double charged us for the same period of heating/hot water (actual usage and service charge). The bill literally has the same lines featured twice, which are then both used to come to our total bill of £212.62.
The bits that are blacked out are just showing the name of the development we live in, but the line just confirms the name of the tariff, and it is the same tariff in both lines.
If anyone has any advice, it would be more than welcome - will be contacting E.ON too on this when I get the chance today. I mainly wanted to confirm here that I'm not losing my mind lol!
Cheers!

I agree, it looks like that. I don’t use eon any more as they double charged me about 15 years ago and were really difficult about sorting it out.1
