Villa compensation

Any thoughts on quantifying villa compensation? My villa did not have air conditioning or hot water and some rooms were infested with insects. The villa company have asked me how much compensation I want and I’m struggling to find guidance that’s fair to us both.

What did you pay to rent the villa?

Always start big you can always lower your expectations but can never ask for more once negotiations have commenced.No A/C and hot water would affect your complete enjoyment so personally state totally ruined vacation -full refund.This will of course depend on booking T &Cs etc.0

Did you ask to be moved to another property once you realised the extent of the problem?
