Morning all
Dry here but overcast hopefully the sun will appear later. I called in sick today as I was up at 3 this morning feeling very sick I was awake till 6 and then dropped off to sleep so I called Robs mum and cancelled I would not have been any good to him on so little sleep.
So I will take it easy today although I have shopping to do and the dogs to walk but they can have a quick one today as I don’t have the energy.
Not sure about dinner tonight will see what I fancy later, I have put a wash on which can go on the line when done.
Taff I AM Imelda Marcos 😂😂 I have so many shoes, including many pairs of Birkenstocks which are the most comfortable / supportive summer sandals I have found, but as scarlet said I’ve not had a lot of use out of them this year but they will be great for holiday.
Floss what great news xxx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -

Hello everyone
The sun has been shining brightly here all afternoon - I've spent tome reading and putting some plants in pots. I bought several plants...ok 8 plants...at Homebase this morning, all reduced to clear because they were too big for their pots and then another 20/ off.
I went down to mam and dads this morning as I'd asked the speech therapist to visit - mam has been making up the rules as she goes along regarding what he could eat, so I interfered! Good outcome for dad - she watched him drinking water and his muscles in his throat have improved so he can have drinks without thickener and drink tea and coffee again - he was so happy. He is now on a 'risk aware' diet - he can mostly eat what he wants as long as it is in pieces less than the size of a 10p coin and he understands that he could choke. He said to her that he's 89 and wants to eat proper food, not mush.
I have DDs kitten overnight, or perhaps 2 nights, my big cat seemed pleased to see her - they've been rolling round the floor together. They have to be at the hospital at Newcastle by 8am tomorrow for little one to get 2 back teeth removed, so they'll have to leave home not long after 6am.
I'd better get washed up, then I'm going to have another read outside - my afternoon seems to have flown by x5 -
-taff - no intruder - we thought it was the office door that triggered the alarm. We reset and left but had to go back in the building to turn off the lights.
Alarm went off again at 4 am.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
