After a lovely Tuesday today is a bit dull, perhaps it'll heat up later. Yesterday I did a small express wash of bras and tights which got hung out, I didn't have enough for a proper load even if I stripped the bed. Not working means that I'm not wearing a fresh top every day anymore. No, I'm not mucky, I promise. 😀
This morning I'll take away the recycling, I normally do it on Mondays when at the exercise class so it's now annoying me.@DP1 - it's so lovely that your DD is doing so much travelling, for work and pleasure, and gets to see you too. I'm enjoying reading about her exploits. I looked up the Lillidorie at Alnwick, it looked fabulous. Now I wish that I had a small child to take there!Hugs to all.9 -
Morning allSaw doctor yesterday and the pain in my right knee is more ligament damage than arthritis so am being referred for some physio so that's good.A bit of housework to do later once I drag myself out of my comfy bed. Looks like the sun will come out later and expecting highs of 19 degrees and next week looks like it's going to be a lot hotter so summer is late but nearly here!Hope you all have a good day x10

Good morning, thanks for starting Gers. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
It's sunny here, yesterday was so gloomy and cold - there's talk of a heatwave coming - bring it on I say.
I was out with a friend for coffee yesterday then had an audiology appt for microsuction. I've got a hearing test on Sunday and the audiologist won't do it if your ears are waxy. Fair enough, it would give a false result.
Meeting up with an ex colleague this morning for coffee, haven't seen her for a few months so there'll be plenty of talking. There's quite a few coffee places in our little town, so there's no problem about where to go.
So pleased for you Floss, glad everything is ok.
I've looked at Birkenstocks Ruby but have never had a pair. I was considering a pair of Hotter sandals, I have one pair already and they wear pretty well. Tbh, it's been so cold I still wear my ankle boots sometimes.
Pleased your little one enjoyed Lilidorei Dp1, it does look nice.
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day, hugs to the poorlies.
Take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Early sunshine here but they say cloud will take over until the sun returns late afternoon. Better forecast from tomorrow. SUN!!
Not doing much here other than lots of reading and football watching.
Enjoy your day if you can folks and (HUGS).for the poorlies. Take care xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10 -

I've had them on twice this year!Yesterday the postie brought me seven almost identical letters from a building society 😲 I had added my bank info to the seven accounts held with it and they sent out seven confirmation letters. Of course, I rang to complain about the waste of money and paper and time. The agent was non-plussed with me 'it's the system' but I perserved and then got an apology from someone else. Surely the point of having my email address is to send me this type of thing and not bombard me with post.@TA - good to hear from you during your retreat, enjoy the rest of the time there.9

Morning all, sunny/cloudy here. Yesterday I spotted an elderly neighbour from up the road walking her sons dog so I joined her.She was pleased to have some company & I pulled her bin back up her drive for her as the dog was on a long lead & it was awkward. Then I spent time cutting some long bramble shoots across the road that were a bit of a hazard coming over the pavement at eye level
, they seem so long this year. A friend rang in the afternoon, so that was an hour whiled away
Floss, I was so glad to hear your good news.dp1, glad you enjoyed DD's company.Taff, rolling concrete slabs around the tip?TA hope you finally get some nice weather at the caravan for the rest of your stay.Chrisca, I've had ligament damage in both knees in the past, very painful. Hope the physio helps.Men had fish & chips last night, I had meatballs, I might cook the chicken this morning, then we can have it cold with salad later.Time for another coffee so hope you all have a good day.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Hi everyone,
Floss, I was glad to read your good news.
Good luck with the physio Chrisca, I hope you don't have long to wait.
There's not a lot happening here at the moment, I'm going to have a quietish day I think. Sorry for the boring post.
Have a good day.10 -

Morning all! Floss, brilliant news! I bet that's a weight off! Sunny here [ lovely] but today will be filled with inside jobs. I have a shopping list to make after I've gone through what ingredients I need for Saturday, a timetable of cooking what when, including bean soaking. I don't normally, they cook just as well or better without but I have a variety to cook and I don't want one lot going mushy when the other lot are still hard. Rosy, yeah concrete slabs
but, they aren't heavy to move if you walk them by swinging one edge and then the other. I've moved all sorts like that in past incluing wardrobes
And a definite clothes sort out is on the cards.
Florence, don't leave us hanging! What was the alarm for? snoozer rest up! Gers, does the building society not have an option to go paperless? Scarlet, enjoy the coffee! Ruby, my sister swears by them too, I do like the formed foot bed too when I've tried hers on] but as I am almost Imelda Marcos I will wait before purchasing more [ just got two pairs of doc sandals, second hand though..] SHout to the MIA, unwell, or those who fancy a shout outtake care all....
