Will I get a sanction for this??

Hi guys.

So I'm on UC and had plenty of face to face appointments with my "work coach" at the job centre but the latest one was rearranged to a phone call appointment last Friday, so that afternoon it was due I received no phone call and no notification of a missed call either, but oddly not long after the call was due to start I did get a voice mail from him saying he called me. I can only assume poor signal strength where I am prevented the actual call coming through and my phone from ringing. Usually it's no problem though and other people get through to me, talk about bad timing and luck for the poor signal on this occasion! So after this I got a notification on my journal that I had to give a "good reason" why I didn't attend the appointment or I could be sanctioned so I just said what I've said here really. Needless to say this is stressing me out now as to what I'll lose and it's not my fault either but was clearly a technological glitch on the phone network. So anyone know what will likely happen now? thanks. Peter.

To me that sounds like 'good reason'.

Particularly if you stressed that you often have a mobile signal issue, although I hope you didn't mention that usually it isn't a problem which weakens your position.
Poor/lost/no mobile signal must be something that they come across frequently.

But I'm not the Decision Maker looking at it so ???
