My phone was stolen so I claimed on travel insurance anyway I have never had to do this before so have some questions?
How often do they pay out?
I have a £50 excess so this comes off any pay out?

I uploaded the phone blocking screenshot, price of stolen phone £999 replacement was £699, my email to police in Belgium and my travel accommodation and trains.
Would they pay out the full price of stolen phone or the cheaper iPhone 15 I replaced it with? Does it usually take long?

Yes your excess is deductible from the settlement. You will need to read your policy book to find out how claims are settled. Travel insurance doesn't tend to be new for old and it may be settled via them providing a replacement phone rather than cash. So at one extreme it would be the current retail price of the stolen phone less £50, at the other extreme you'll pay them the £50 excess and be given a reconditioned version of the stolen phone0 -
They got back to me so they will pay ziltch nothing which is not good.

What reason did they give?
There will be a complaints process followed by an Ombudsman, if you disagree with why the claim was rejected.
Do you have home contents insurance - might be a possibility to claim under that if you have the right type of cover.0
