Waiting over 4 months for plate transfer claim

A car crashed into the back of me back in February. Despite having rear dashcam footage, the claim took over two months before they accepted it and was paid, except the claim for the private plate transfer they said they would also pay. The claims company I used are saying they are still waiting for the payment from the other persons insurance company, yet it has been over 2 months since the paid out on everything else except the private plate transfer. I have told them I now believe it is beyond a reasonable time to pay this, yet still am being told the same thing. What should I do next to get this last payment they promised?
