We’ve teamed up with Visit Lake District to offer an annual pass to The World of Beatrix Potter™ Attraction including afternoon tea, a family ticket for Windermere Lake Cruises & a 2-hour private boat hire. PLUS stay at the 4* Macdonald Old England Hotel and Spa in Bowness-on-Windermere, for a luxury 2-night stay! Train travel included with Northern (Northern services only).

Individuals can spin the wheel up to 3 times per day for the duration of the competition. Only one entry per individual is counted for the draw. Players may spin the wheel again should they spin the wheel and land on the ‘lose’/black section, and may spin again until they land on the green ‘You’re in’ section of the wheel where they will be entered into the prize draw.

Prize includes:  

One prize based on a family of 4, including one annual pass to The World of Beatrix Potter with afternoon tea on the first visit, one family pass for Windermere Cruises, and one 2-night stay at the 4* Macdonald Old England Hotel. One entry per person. Northern train travel included (1 day pass and 1 weekend pass for 4 people). 

Macdonald Old England Hotel: includes 4* Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights for 2 adults and 2 children in a deluxe family room. Indoor pool, steam/sauna and fully equipped gym and spa available throughout the stay. Stay must be taken by the 31st of March 2025 and can’t be taken over a bank holiday or Christmas period, rooms subject to availability. Winner contacted with full instructions on how to claim their prize, winner will be contacted by email and must reply to accept the prize.

Windermere Cruises: includes a full day out on Windermere on any of their routes and vessels. Explore the whole of Windermere and the flexibility to hop on and off any of our services and vessels within a 24-hour period. Valid for up to 2 adults and 3 children.

The World of Beatrix Potter: Prize is for 2 adults and 2 children. Prize has 12 months validity from date of winning. Excluded dates are closure dates (Christmas day & January – please check website for details) Prize is non exchangeable and for named family only. Winner to exchange their prize voucher for VIP pass at the Box Office on their first visit.

Weekend ticket – 1 ticket provided for the prize winner. This ticket entitles the bearer and up to three other persons complimentary unlimited train travel for the day on the date specified and the following day. Ticket must be used on a Saturday/ Sunday is not valid for use on weekdays. All persons using this ticket must travel together for the entire journey. This ticket is valid on Northern services only and is non-transferable. Issued subject to National Rail Conditions of Travel. It must be produced on demand to any authorised person.

Unlimited day travel for two – 2 tickets provided for the prize winner. This ticket entitles the bearer and up to one other person complimentary unlimited train travel for the day on the date specified. All persons using this ticket must travel together for the entire journey. Valid on Northern services only and is non-transferable.  Issued subject to National Rail Conditions of Travel. It must be produced on demand to any authorised person.
