they could offer new contracts on day 1 and in some cases it may be advantageous to do that - but often it will be individual circumstances that reflect that and should be guided by TU / lawyer / accountant advice. THat said they could have tweaked things in the measures / scope of the TUPE to equalise things out , there are TUPEs and there are TUPes sometimes it ;s clearly a take over other times is more of a merger often depending on relative sizes of the organisations - leaving aside company A buys company B scenarios which aren;t technically TUPE as companyB , at least initially, remains company B but is owned by A rather than the previous owner)rol0 said:Thank you all

there seems to be a common myth that TUPE lasts for a specific period, in theory it can last forever ( as seen with various organisatiosn where there are different contracts in place )0
