Every year in UK there is Easter and the Friday before Easter Day (Sunday) is known as Good Friday and is a Bank Holiday.rol0 said:
I only work Fri/Saturday mornings so no bank holidays for me this year.Andy_L said:The difference in hours is suspiciously the same as the number of days you should get (6.4)
Is there a day you must take off (eg Xmas) and they've taken that 1 day off your allowance so you don't book more than you can but have cocked up & deducted number of days instead of number of hours?
ETA or you've already taken a day off before they changed to hourly calculations & its the same mistakeIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Thank you all
One more thing how long does TUPE last before we sign a new contract( still waiting) and can the terms be changed.

If you sign a new contract you may well give up any rights you had under it so be careful. eg if you agree to a new contact that says 28 days leave you will loose your right to 32
The terms can be changed regardless of TUPE (in the same way that your previous employer could have tried to change your contact), but the employer has to have a reason for that change. They can't just change it because of the transfer

Just because you don't work on a bank holiday doesn't mean that they have no relevance to your calculation.rol0 said:

Instead of everyone guessing, can you ask your employer for how they calculated your entitlement, then post that here? It's easier to check facts than guess at them.

Then you should have had 2 in your last leave year. With Easter being moveable you may get anything from 0 to 2 Bank Holiday Fridays in your leave year. You will get 2 BH Fridays in your 2026/27 leave yearrol0 said:

Again, it doesn't work like that. Please ask your employer for their calculations... then it can be verified.rol0 said:
