Hi everyone,
I had a busy day yesterday, the family were out most of the time so I made sugar free granola, banana bread and veggie flapjacks. Then I raised the hem on one of Nate's curtains, only one left of the four now. I wonder if I'll be able to remember the right way to fold the blind hem this time and not check the YouTube video. I might make him a couple of cushions from the leftover fabric.
We watched the golf, it was very exciting for once but a disappointment for Rory McIlroy fans at the end.
Steve has gone over to C and C's to start painting the stables.
Safe journey home Gers
I hope the weather is ok for you TA, we actually have sunshine here.
Nanny and Ruby I hope your respective parents are doing ok.
Have a good day.7 -
Morning all
Lovely bright day here and an unexpected day off for me as both of my people are poorly I won’t see Rob tomorrow either as he has an upset tummy again.
Im quite glad of the day off as dd got in just after 3 this morning, not that I got up but I was half listening for her she had a lovely time but I think is glad to be home with her pup 🐶 and in her own bed.
Wm is on with the first holiday wash and will be on a few more times today I’m sure, I will get the dogs out later for a walk.
Have good days all and take care xx5 -
I'm in shock this morning - I got my contents insurance renewal and it has an increase of 126% 😳😳 I know I had a claim and was expecting a 40-50% rise, but that's ridiculously high! So this morning has been spent doing the trawl of comparison sites trying to compare quotes, offers & variations in cover.
Ruby, is Rob ill as a result of his PICA?
Gers, hope you have a safe & scenic drive home.
Rosy, is that the end of football for a few weeks?
TA, enjoy your break in the van.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

@Floss I had the same a few days ago and ended up going with a quote from our car insurance company. When I phoned the original to cancel (it was on auto renewal) the person on the phone offered to see if they could meet my new quote but it was too late. Maybe have a chat with yours just in case.

Mr F had a Dr's appointment this morning. She gave him a blood test form - we popped to the hospital to get it done this afternoon.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
